Mechanical pressure reducing valves from Saint Gobain PAM Italia lower pressure in pressurized pipelines. They are used at permanent flow, mostly on sections, where there are no users or hydrant networks.
They are made of ductile cast iron, with a two-side epoxy protection layer of at least 250 microns, and of stainless steel. The standard version includes a spring that assures the regulation of exit pressure from 1.5 to 6 bar. If ordered, we can also supply reduction boxes with regulation areas ranging from 2 to 8 bar and 4 to 12 bar.
Mechanic pressure reduction boxes Caleffi are used for pressure reduction on lines of smaller dimensions (up to 2") and house connections.
They are made of brass or bronze and vital parts are made of stainless steel. They enable settings for pressure reduction from 0.5 to 6 bar and for the entry pressure up to 25 bar.
